We also specialise with Apple non-warranty repairs, hard drive upgrades, data rescue, installations, troubleshooting and more.

Service Request For Computers and iOS Devices

übertec inspection fee $80

Inspection and assessment of computer equipment, providing recommendations or quote for required work.

übertec iOS device diagnostic fee $46

Inspection and assessment of non warranty iOS devices (either outside of warranty period, or fault due to accidental damage or abuse). This diagnostic fee is payable when you bring in your iOS device. We do recommend trying these troubleshooting steps prior to bringing in your iOS device.

übertec emergency service fee $115

We usually require 3 days notice to schedule service jobs, although we do understand that sometimes things happen that can't wait to be fixed. So we have an Emergency Fee so you can choose to fast track your service job. This is an extra charge on top of the normal hourly rate.

Trained Übertec hardware & software configuration engineer at your disposal.

Billed in 15 minute intervals; 60 minutes minimum charge.

übertec Monthly Maintenance

Ubertec offers a monthly maintenance and backup service to businesses that require IT peace of mind on an ongoing basis. All Mac networks require some maintenance to keep software up to date, file systems intact and security settings current.

Here is what we offer:

Offsite Backup: We will take a copy of your important data, put it on a hard drive and take it back to Ubertec for storage. In the event of fire or theft having an off-site backup is absolutely crucial.
Workstation Maintenance: Each Mac that you own runs its own maintenance routines, however there are some handy additional things we'll do: We'll optimise and repair the disk directory to stop any future software melt-downs, we'll remove temporary cache files to make sure your Mac is running at optimum speed and we'll repair disk permissions.
Server Maintenance: Servers also need to be maintained and have their own special needs that we will attend to.
Software and Firmware Updates: We'll keep the software up to date on your workstations and servers. We can also update the firmware in your printers and phones.
Present your List: We'll deal with assorted niggles that have built up over the last month. If you write an on-going list of IT issues that need sorting we'll attend to them all.
Planning and Advice: During the maintenance times you can tap our technicians for advice on future IT directions. Out techs see many office environments and have a good idea of what products work well and how to plan for the future.
